Halo Station is very useful device for connecting to long range wifi connection. If your pc/laptop is not capable of connecting to poor wifi signal then halostation works as the booster to let you connect to those weak signaled connections. Also, it has inbuilt adhoc mod that means you can even create your own wifi hotspot and let your other friends enjoy the internet.

I hardly found any driver for halo-station outdoor wifi usb device, so here i am with the working driver for you halostation wifi booster device. I have directly copied it from my cd and created an iso file of it. You can mount the file and install the driver according to your OS (works on windows xp ,windows 7,windows 8 and 8.1(might need to use compatibility mode to install driver), windows 10 {not tested but might work with compatibility mode}).

I have installed this driver on my windows 8.1 x64 bit with compability mode of windows 7. I will provide you the detail instruction of installing the driver on windows 8.1 x64 bit. If you have windows xp or windows 7 then choose your OS from the installation menu itself.

Steps to Install Halo Station Outdoor Wifi USB Driver on Windows 8.1 64 Bit.

  1. Download Halo Station Wifi Device Driver from here
  2. Mount the ISO file or even you can extract it using WinRAR.
  3. Right Click on Autorun.exe file and choose Properties then goto Compatibility tab and tick on Run this program in compatibility mode and from drop down menu choose ‘Windows 7
  4. Now open Autorun.exe file
  5. Installation menu will popup,Choose Driver Installation then choose Windows 7 64Bit
  6. Now install the driver.
    [For windows xp and windows 7 you can skip step 3 and follow other steps accordingly]
